“I love and appreciate you all and I really respect the integrity you show when writing and showing support in your letters. The past 7 months have been tough but I’m turning the corner and things will only get better from here. My sense of self and calm has started to fall back into place and I’ve got my second wind. As soon as I transfer I’ll be doing my “Mi Gente” over the phone because my voice is a lot more personal than my writing.
